The legendary NPH talked to IGN recently about whether or not his iconic character in the Harold and Kumar franchise will return for the third installment (SPOILER ALERT!) in HAROLD AND KUMAR 2, after the end credits roll, you see NPH rising up from the ground after being shot twice.
“I survived two shotgun wounds to the chest, so I can’t imagine I’d go away!”
“I talked to [Hurwitz and Schlossberg] and I think they’re excited about some potential stuff. Their ideas are strong. I’m always concerned about them jumping the shark — I think as Kal [Penn] and John [Cho] are as well — and they surprised me with the ideas that they had for the third movie. I wholeheartedly approved of what they wanted to do.”
Whatever those ideas may be, hey, If NPH approves it, then it’s as good as any green light. The man on the unicorn knows best.
By the way, last year, the creators Hurwitz and Schlossberg have signed on to make HAROLD AND KUMAR 3… maybe they can call it MAYHEM IN AMSTERDAM. Just a thought.
