Some movies are weird because it’s got lots funny lookin’ creatures and monsters you’ve never imagined before like Lord Of The Rings, Narnia and Harry Potter movies. Some movies are weird only in the build-up but then it leads to a reasonable and profound conclusion so they’re still enjoyable to watch again and again. And some movies are just plain weird, while you watch it you can’t help but think ‘WTF is going on here?!’ you wouldn’t even be able to explain the plot to your friends afterward.
Some because they’re based on weird fantasy sci-fi thriller/suspense books, some because they get lost in the adaptation, and some are the crazy original work of the filmmakers/screnwriters themselves who grew up with imagination that goes beyond our understanding. David Lynch’s Inland Empire. Another foreign film called The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie went way over my head when I saw it years ago.

Sex Is Zero- like American Pie, except it does a one-eightly in the last 30 mins and becomes a serious story about going through abortion….oh Korean movies
Triples of Belleville…. Has less than a paragraph of dialogue in the entire movie…

After Suicide Club, there’s the sequel Noriko’s Dinner Table, that’s weird also.
