I could easily just put this info within another info since it’s a very short one but I it wouldn’t be fair considering I’m a big fan of this particular character. Besides, look at those eyes in the picture above, can you actually say no to that, huh?
Ya see.. this is why I’m never gonna have kids of my own because if they do that sad eye staring thing, I’d fall for whatever it is they want me to buy for them every single time.
HollywoodReporter says that Tom Wheeler has been hired to write the spin-off movie of PUSS IN BOOTS.
Chris Miller, who co-directed and co-wrote the third movie, wrote an earlier draft of the “Puss” screenplay.
This is awesome! Not because Tom Wheeler is a legend but because PUSS IN BOOTS is. Ever since he showed up in Shrek 2, he totally stole the scene from Eddie Murphy’s donkey. And in SHREK 3, Puss was the laugh riot, with his ways of trying to smoothly flirt with other cats and his hilarious swordsman advices. Antonio Banderas was the right man as the voice.. and I’m guessing he’ll reprise his role for this stand-alone movie.
I wonder what the plot is.. maybe it’s an origin story. Whatever it is, I can’t wait.
