Via Deadlinehollywooddaily, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has made the choice for who’s going to Host the upcoming Academy Awards, and this mystery person is not a TV personality or a stand-up comedian, but is someone in the movie business
And because that, the traditional segment of joke-telling as part of the intro of the broadcast has been cut. An official announcement could be made as soon as Tuesday.

one of the things I like about watching Oscar ceremony is the host, I’m always looking forward to the hilarious spoof or comments or wise-ass remarks he or she is going to say about the industry, certain films, or movie stars in the audience.. so this info is a total let down.
