Will Smith And Spielberg’s OLDBOY Remake Is D-E-A-D!

You remember that OLDBOY remake that Will Smith and Steven Spielberg have been trying to make?! How they wanted to base it on the Japanese manga series by Nobuaki Minegishi and Garon Tsuchiya instead of straight up remaking the Chan Wook Park’s classic. At one point they even got Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) to write the screenplay. Smith kept bragging that their version will be stunning. You remember all that talk and plan right? Yeah.. well it’s DEAD!…

Latinoreview has heard from a reliable source that both Spielberg and Smith have exited the project because Mandate and DreamWorks couldn’t see eye to eye on how the movie should play out, and so DreamWorks pulled a Cartman and said “screw you guys, I’m going home”
This certainly is a breath of fresh air. And now I’m crossing my finger, hoping the same fate would happen LET ME IN, the American remake of Let The Right One In.

Thank god. Old Boy was crazy as hell. I cannot see will smith cutting off his tongue for no reason. I mean really old boy didn’t really make any sense. I guess someone realized that and gave will and steve the finger.

    John Woo for Red Cliff!

By the way this picture is too hilarious. It’s just as funny as the 107 yrd old virgin featuring Edward Cullen.
