Earlier this month, if you remember, J.J. Abrams made a comment explaining to online community why he didn’t have William Shatner star in his new version prequel movie that comes out next year, STAR TREK, telling the story of the crew when they were young cadets. Abrams said that Shatner was offered a cameo but he refused because he wanted the movie to focus on him. That implies Shatner as a very self-centered, conceited person but evidently that’s not the case, how do we know that because the now fat and old Cpt. Kirk said so himself in the video above. He said he was never offered the role and it would be easy to bring Kirk back alive on the screen. The question remains, Do we really wanna see Shatner on the big screen again? Does this mean Shatner is calling Abrams a liar?
